Title: [solved] Start Location in the Megaglest Map Editor on windows
Post by: Dom on 27 May 2014, 17:08:38
Hi,

I saw a problem in the Megaglest Map Editor on windows 7. It's impossible to create the location of the players, so the maps are unusable.

In the otherside, using the "glest_tools_1.5", it's possible to create these locations. Then, wen I load the maps in the Megaglest editor, I can move the player's crosses.

System : Windows 7 64bits
Megaglest Map Editor v1.6.1  (downloaded here)

Let me solve this (if im right):
when you open the map editor it will show you an empty map. on this, you can not set players, thats right.
Go to File > New and create a map with the number of players you want.
Or to Edit > Reset Players and enter the number of players you want.
After this steps you can set players on the map :)

You're completely right, FreshDumbledore ! :D :D :D
I didn't made this configuration before starting the creation of the map.

Thank you very much !
(And sorry for this false bug report)

Its still a bit confusing so i would propose the map editor should start with no map or a valid map but not with this nonfunctional thingy
