Title: linux vs windows in multiplayer

hey i noticed that linux version is 3.0.0-alpha3 and windows users have 2.0.1-alpha4 ( atleast thats what me is told ) whats the difference between those and will it be possible to multiplay with winblows agains linux?

v2.0.1 is the last stable version, for both linux and windows. v3.0.0alpha is the latest multiplayer alpha, available also for both operative systems, there is a patch for windows

but i cant connect with windows server because of the alpha3 and alpha4 diffrence

We will release a beta in a few days, don´t worry about it, however since the windows version is compiled under VS and the linux one is compiled under GCC both versions might get out of sync. We will see.
