Hello.
As you change the resolution of the game in Linux?
I wish I could change the resolution to 1024x768

edit your glest.ini file.  There is a ScreenHeight and ScreenWidth setting.  If you are in windowed mode, you can even use arbitrary settings, like 200x1200 pixels if you want.  I tried and it works!  The screen was just a little bit skinny though

I've set mine to 1024x700 and it is a nice widescreen.
