Post by: Saintok on 21 May 2008, 13:13:27
I noticed that only myself and playhelmith have been on IceChat. Well were the only other ppl who actually talk n play. How many ppl actually play Glest Multiplayer?

If you want to open yourself up to more opportunities, you can get xfire (though i'm not sure this will help much =)

PS: Hi again everyone! (I'm editing this much later than original post date XD)

everyone wants it but noone actually does it because it won't be in official game anyways.

hmm...I've to train offline, I think in a few month I'll start multiplayer :D)

A lobby would be fine in the official game IMO...
@ttsmj
why?`have the programmers said it?

btw.: for linux users there is "gfire" it is an native client for the xfire protocol ;)

Hmm, last time I was on, Playhelmith was too. I played a game, in about 5 minutes, I lost connection and got automatically logged out. Its because of faults like this that ruin multiplayer that I don't play.

I sometimes am on the irc (with konversation). But I'm little afraid of online games; because they often crash and it often is the fault of my computer (not really, it's probably my fault or the fault of the programmer). But I would like a lobby. I liked playing wesnoth online.
Is the linux vs. windows problem solved?

It might actually become an official game if a lobby was added....and anyways, wesnoth isn't going to be an official game, it still has a lobby.
