Title: [Tileset] Sludge
Post by: mictes on 4 October 2008, 19:24:40
Hi!
I made a new tileset called "sludge". It is in developement and needs your help!
Cause I liked the Idea I made a little kickstart. I just addes new textures (making the textures for a sludge-theme
was pretty hard ^^) and edited or recoloured the old ones...
As I said: Your help is asked. Please share your opinion and your ideas >> Make a good tileset out of it !!

You can download the "0.1" here:

There is much work to do ;-p

Have a look onto the screenshots!

What do you mean by a "sludge" tileset?  It looks okay so far, but I'm just not sure where you're trying to go with this.

Sludge, Mud... Ground...   There two abilitys in my eyes:

-Post-Worldwar3 Tileset
-Sump Tileset

Tell me what is better in your opinion :)

I've always wanted to see a swamp type tileset. Maybe you could make it a swamp.

I agree.  Swamp sounds good.

Forgive me if this sounds rude, but I don't notice any difference. Can you at least take the pictures during the day to make it easier to see?

Don't mind the black bar in the middle.  That's just something my computer does when I take screenshots.

I don't know...it doesn't seem that drastically different that it's worthwhile...

As things are right now, I'm inclined to agree.  However, the concept has a lot of potential.  Adding things like twisted and dieing trees, oil slicks, and the remains of a few houses could turn it into a pretty good post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Yes, as I said. I just had the idea and wanted to start a "community-project".
The files you can download is just the "concept".
