Title: [MacOS X] Installing and playing of Glest as standard user
Post by: vatolin on 2 November 2008, 10:48:12
Morning.

(How) can I install and play Glest on a G4 iMac running Mac OS X 10.4.11 as a standard user, without admin privileges?

For clarification: The installation should be made by an administrator. But the Player should use it's standard user account without admin privileges. Is this possible?

TIA and kind regards, Friedrich alias vatolin

Did you check the file permission of Glest related file? The owner of files must be a user who installed them, not administrator (or root).
The right of administrator is required only for installation time.
