Title: Tree Making Guide with samples
Post by: Omega on 12 December 2008, 15:24:54: I've created a guide for making trees with samples of trunks, leave textures and more! The pack has 25+ leaf textures, and a number of trunks and models. It also bundles with a chm (compiled html help) expailing tipas and stuff for making trees. Now available for download! Now go out there and make some tilesets!

Where did you get the textures? are they open license?

Just please credit me, and make sure that the tilesets get upload fopr everyone to try out, don't hold it back!

Post by: modman on 17 December 2008, 23:43:48: I do believe it's an Open GL licence. I have no idea what that means--I think it means you cannot sell the data at all and anything derived from the engine code must also be free.

Also the copyright holder can distribute under multiple licenses. This will work fine with nearly every open source license GPL/BSD/CreativeCommon. Only Public Domain will not work, as it has not cedits.
