Map editor works (on windows...)!!!
And I made a new map! It's just a beta (I still have to place scenery).
I did test it, but not enough, I hope this is the right version! Have fun!
Anyone got a good name for this?
Things I still have to change:
-Add scenery
-different terrain

sorry about the rain, could it be turned off automatically in photomode?
p.s. and the mouse should be turned off when taking a picture.

I didn't try it yet, but what I see from the screenshot, you need more free land at the start points to build up your city.
The cpu players really don't like this . You should improve this.

To be flexible it might be better having a macro with a debug toolbox.

Although for a short term solution I could have a look at doing that if you can compile.

I tested it now,
It's really fun to play it!
Some things that can be improved:
Add some more eyecandy ( bushes near the trees, some stones and so on ).
For the coasts:
If you want you can add some steep coast. This can be done by making very big height differences at the borders, sometimes decorated with bigstones and blocked for walking with the Custom 4 object. And some bigstones in the water ( where it's not so deep ) also look good.
