I think you'll need to give more details about your error. When does the error occur, what video card are you using, what operating system, did glest ever work, what version of glest are you using?

Thanks

Are you able to play any other games that use OpenGL (graphics) and OpenAL (sound)?

This problem is already fixed!
It was a problem in the windows binary release (version 3.2.1), which has a precompiled lua lib in it using lots of strange .Net stuff...
This only works on completly up to day patched windows systems.

Simply download 3.2.1 again and install it. ( here: http://glest.org/en/downloads.php )
It will work!

Did you download 3.2.1 again from the link I posted?
There was a change of glest 3.2.1 windows version without changing the version number!
So you better download it form here:

http://glest.org/en/downloads.php

And by the way, 3.1.0 will not work in multiplayer with 3.2.1

i have played warzone 2000 before
sorry for off topic

about glest i think you get multiple versions of glest this way you can play multiplayer with people who have a different version than 3.1.0
like maybe you should get 3.1.2 and 3.0.0
i have
3.2.1
3.1.2
3.0.0
1.1.1(problems)
1.1.0(problems)
so I'm capable with playing multiple people
