Title: Soundproblem in Jaunty

Hi all

I have a AMD6-64 Bit System and installed Glest from the original Jaunty-repo. When I start Glest, CPU Usage is nealry 100% and the sound is flickering in a half (or quarter ;-) seconds cadence. It's nearly impossible to play this way.

All other programms using my soundsystem (ALSA via SB audigy) run without any problems in parallel or standalone.

Any suggestions?

 Yes, I have this problem in Jaunty (Kubuntu 9.04, 32bit) , too.  :'(

well i have a jaunty -64 bit
and i can't even get glest to run on it
so i use my kubuntu 8.04
