1- I thought it was a tileset, with lot of water, lol.

Please do not listen to madelf. The site that archmage 101 is using is blacklisted by several blocking programs, so some school's and works (like mine) don't allow the site, and the site's files are encrypted in such a way that proxies are useless.

Go ahead and use mediafire, I am sure that mad elf is doing something wrong (ISP, browser, proxy, connection, connection type, or some external program messing with it).

Or use any other host that is not either filefront or rapid share.
