Hello!
I have a noisy problem under Glest 3.2.1, on Linux Ubuntu 9.04
If I add Elves faction (0.8 or 0.9) at a tech tree, it makes Glest crash with a segmentation fault message. This happens also if I put it in a new tech tree, alone, 10 times on 10. Any ideas?
P.S.: with Glest 3.1.2 it didn't always crash.
Thank you,
Ocirne

if you don't plan on playing multiplayer then i'd just stick to an older version of glest
also what did you use to install it titi's work or the linux package installer
i'd use the linux package installer it might fix your problem

Hello archmage101, hello all;
I tried with Glest 3.2.2, and it worked fine! :) :) :)
I don't know why...but that does not matter
Thanks to all for their support
Bye,
Ocirne

I'm sorry for reopening this 9 months old topic, but I have installed Glest 3.2.2 on another computer, 64-bit package from the official package manager, and with elves 0.9 it crashes again, always! :o :o :o
Still, any ideas?
Ocirne :'( :'( :'(
P.S.: I've taken the elves package from "official" 7-z link

I've never had Elves crash on me......
I thought segmentation faults were caused by something in the data, or maybe memory problems...................
I'll need more information from someone who knows about segmentation faults...

Ya segmentation faults hapen to me too, mostly wen I try to add a sound for attack, walk, stand, or die.
