Title: Glest 3.2.2 crashes on iMac G4 700 MHz, 768 MB RAM

The crash occures when Glest initializes the renderer. What can I do to run and play Glest on my sons machine?

I got no idea what kind of logfile that is, but can you tell me a few vitals.

Firstly, does your computer have OpenGL installed? If not, or not sure, you should google and download it. It's free. Since the main menu loaded, I assume you have it.

Secondly, is an error message displayed?

Thirdly, are permissions all set openly on the glest directory (where ever you installed glest). Meaning your account should be set, along with computers and other accounts, so that the directory allows full control. Not sure how this is done in a mac...

Also, can you include the glest error file found in the glest directory?


Alternatively, you could try the more powerful GAE (glest.codemonger.org) to see if it will give better luck.

More information will be needed. Please answer the above questions. :)

Yes. Open GL 1.5.10.

I think so.The shortname of the current user ist arthur. And this is what bash tells:

drwx---r-x+  4 arthur  staff   136 Sep  5 12:30 Glest

There is no error file in ~/Glest

Such website seems to be unaccessible.
