Dude, a few things you may want to do.....:

1- Change: "dowload pixel boy" to: "OT - Pixel Boy", OT for Off Topic.

2- Add a couple of screenshots, and other stuff like.....how you made the game, or you know, stuff people want to know!

3- Post a nice download like instead of "here", like: Download Here, look at the download in the magitech-refit topic (https://forum.megaglest.org/index.php?topic=4724.msg32668#msg32668), that will give you a few ideas hopefully!

There's enough malware on the net to make anyone wary of just downloading something on a whim. You have to entice players into 1. trusting you and your content, 2. seeing value in the product (easier when free), and 3. seeing that it is worth their time and effort.

Screenshots and videos demonstrate that there is likely to be an actual game - and possibly a fun one - and not just malware. Reviews or word-of-mouth suggestions by friends builds trust and user-base.

That is part of why people will not go for just "Click here for pixelboy!" What IS pixelboy? Is it free? A big download? Is it a game or a tech demo? Do I need anything else to run it? What's it like? Think like a stranger and try to answer those questions BEFORE they're asked.

So, tell me about Pixel Boy.

-pixel boy is a free 2d platformer.

-made from the supertux engine.

-the game is around 200 meg.

-the point of the game is you are pixel boy and you can
only see black and white you must find crayons of different
colors to bring home to your family.

Yes this game is quite neat lots of levels and I think like 7 worlds, I vouch for it, its not a virus.  ;)

I was making progress on playing this on my 64-bit computer, but getlibs or my internet or something wasn't working properly.........
