Title: Issue adjusting resolution.
Post by: quakeIV on 16 January 2010, 22:51:45
Hey, im on a 'lil netbook trying to test this game on it, and im having trouble setting the screen resolution down from 1024x768 to 1024x600.  I went to the configurator and set the resolution down, then clicked apply. I still got the error message that it couldnt set the resolution to 1024x768 even though i turned it down.

A little help? Im not sure what im doing wrong, and wanna test this game out on my more portable machine.

I generally go by what is available in the Windows settings. (right click desktop then go to Settings tab). The next one down I have from 1024x768 is 800x600.

Ah, so i gather the games resolution isnt as flexible as implied in the configurator?

At any rate im going to try that out and see how it goes.

EDIT: Nope, still getting the error message.

Important to note im using Win7.

What is the largest resolution your screen can display?

1024x600 is its real resolution, but its classified as a 1024x768 in monitor selection.

Put Glest on 800x600, then tell use if you still get an error.

Set it in the ini file, don't use that crappy configurator, I've found it to be useless.
