By the way: you provided to me by glest3.2.3beta3 download address is windows version, me and my brother are now using the system UBUNTU8.10.

You will find such a similar error!

By the way: because I did not find a suitable network card driver, so my network card driver is not installed, but ubuntu can recognize my network card, network card is working correctly!

But I played more than 100 multiplayer games with my sons now and I never had a problem :-\

TITI, this error does not appear you are really there? But I do have this problem here! Why is there a problem, would be my network card drivers are not equipped with the reasons do??? But my card is working correctly!

There is nothing to fix! Network is working fine for lots of people!
Known issues are:
- its a bit choppy if the connection is not perfect
- linux network 4 player games are very choppy
- you cannot play cross platform because you get out of sync after a while.

2 player network games work fine for everyone.
I think there is something wrong with your setup if you cannot play network games.
I play them several times a week without problems!

... and  I have massive problems to understand your english! Please ask in german in a personel message!

titi, the client and the game itself I did not set the settings wrong.

Battle online for local LAN is no problem, but why this error occurs, I do not understand!

When you are testing on-line also appeared the same error message! I want to know is: Why is there this error message then? Can not completely solve this problem???

Tom I think you need to relax, Glest is just a game, and we offer out time for free (and no I wouldn't take your money anways). I don't want to discourage you from playing glest but when you encounter a problem, don't expect 24 x 7 paid style support.

If this is the case, the server 192.168.1.12 is not accessable at Port: 61357. There are several possible reasons for this:
Firewalls,network setup problems and so on. Can you ping the other computer?

ping  192.168.1.12

I can ping pass to other computers, other computer can ping pass my firewall I see it shut down! But I do not know why this problem still occurs? Please tell me, how can I set up the network or system in order to avoid this problem from occurring, thank you!

Is the logfile above showing your problem, or does your logfile look different? And what Operating System we are talking about at the moment?
Please try to give us as much information as possible!
- Post logfiles
- Tell us everything about the game setup
- post the network configuration of server and client( in linux type "ifconfig"  in windows type ipconfig to get them )

Without information we cannot help. And spamming the lists with "help help" only makes us angry.

Which exact version of glest is installed on both computers?

I'm quite sure this doesn't affect gameplay.. all this is is a delayed response from the connection to the server. It is just informational output to the screen and does not affect your ability to play glest at all.

This is not an error, its really a warning and is there in case an error follows after the warning.
