Here is a simple video about blender.

1. Videos with sound are much more helpful, so people can actually know what you're doing.
2. You're better off using constraints and numbers than just "eyeballing" all your movements.
3. When you want to scale a bunch of points together into a single point, it's easier and more precise to do S, 0, and W, 6, rather than just scaling it down with your mouse (which probably won't ever condense them into a single point anyway).

I've added the video into the Blender Help Center. :)

I'll watch and comment later.

Ah, I just took a quick look (I don't really need a tutorial), but here's my opinions:
-Have text to tell what to do, rather than just doing it with the mouse. This is a MUCH better alternative to using audio as john.d.h suggested, since its easily understood and can be viewed muted in public (school, anyone?).
-John had a good point on using numbers of course, but while more accurate, you generally need to scale it by hand first, so sorry john. Best to scale by hand to get the idea of what number to use, then use that number, then apply math to have everything positioned perfectly.

I thought that was a given. ::)

Nice video.   ;D

I agree with the other suggestions.  :D

If you're using CamStudio, the "auto" codec is lame. You should probably use another one...such as
x264vfw...( a codec)  http://sourceforge.net/projects/x264vfw/ small file size, good quality, still outputs as AVI...  :) (A 10 minute video would be around 40 to 50 MB...)

Also you should probably rename the titles.   ::)

Damm, I posted this* on youtube two times already...and...  ::)

First of all, I have linux, so only linux ones work for me (I did boot to Windows to take that one though).

Second of all, what is wrong with the name?

I see...I thought... no need for all the stuff I said then.  ::)

You could at least take away .avi from the title... and then well. Grammar?
Doesn't really matter if it is a tutorial I guess...  :-\ Add Glest in the title too...
Like: Glest - Making a Hut  ::)

Also the board title should be changed too
Making a Hut Video...something like that.
Currently it is too general.

Well, it's ok, as in terms of being "ok" (http://www.soft-haus.com/jacob/smiles/happy.png)
A bit fast and some other tiny stuff/"problems" but it's ok.
I'm pretty sure that your next videos will be better/ good though. (http://www.soft-haus.com/jacob/smiles/t_up.png) (http://www.soft-haus.com/jacob/smiles/ha.gif)
