Title: glest process doesn't end
Post by: narcisgarcia on 12 April 2010, 19:09:18
Software environment:
- Ubuntu GNU/Linux 9.10 (32-bit)
- Glest 3.2.2 (from system's repositories)

When the user plays, and after exits Glest, the process doesn't end and cannot play again launching Glest.

In the system monitor (gnome) the "glest" process appears "sleep" and waiting "futex_wait_queue_me"

This is actually an Ubuntu bug related to pulse audio. Because pulse audio doesn't release the sound driver the process hangs. You must kill the process to restart glest. The same problem exists for other games / programs that use pulse.
