Title: Glest Forum Crashed?

I was on last night or morning at 1:00 AM tried going on glest but it failed! It said something about SMF or whatever. Its not my internet connection because all the web works fast! :-X

I'm afraid I'm not sure. The board reports no errors yesterday other than mistyped passwords (one at 7pm, one at 12pm, so it must have went down sometime inbetween that?). Its back up now, so it could have been a server error.

I got in at ten fifteen or so, but it ran really slow prior to crashing completely :look:

Odd, most likely a server thing, since there are no recorded errors... Either way, there's no denying that web hosts are not perfect (though some major companies span over so many servers you never see downtime, like google), and for a site like Glest's, our uptime isn't too bad (wanna see what uptime on a cheap server looks like? That's glest.110mb.com (http://glest.110mb.com).... :()

Yeah, probably either the server crashed, update, or mis-typed password...
But, the most important thing is that it is OK now.  :thumbup:
