Title: How to play Glest online?

Currently the best way to play glest online is to:

1. download and install Megaglest (http://www.megaglest.org)

2. Change your player name in the ingame options!!

3. Go to the internet menu and check if there are open games you can join

4.  If there is no game you can
  a) Wait until someone opens a server
  b) You can open a server

How to open a server:
If your router or firewall setup is wrong you get an error message when you try to open/publish a server!
Glest uses TCP port 61357, so if you are under a router or firewall you will have to open/redirect this port to your computer if you want to host games (in the same way as you do for any other multiplayer games).

Usually it shouldn't be 30 minutes... maybe in the future? hopefully not.

Anyways, you can get the attention by just typing their username...like

username: hey, are you there? are you up for a game?then you that person gets a "notice"... and they might say yes.

You can also say

Code: [Select]

Hey are you up for a game guy1, person2, and  username3 ? etc
