Title: Why is it Always Raining?
Post by: Mukora on 19 August 2010, 14:38:26
So, it's come to my attention, that no matter what I do, it's always raining in single player games. I don't know if this is a bug, or if it's random, and I'm just unlucky, but it is a tad annoying.

Is it always snowing when you change the tileset to 'winter forest'? It should only rain occasionally.

What did you actually tried to play and which glest version do you have installed?

I guess you could edit the tileset's xml...Although, which tileset? All tilesets usually have "Sun" the most...
Code: ( from autumn.xml) [Select]
<weather sun="0.60" rain="0.30" snow="0.10"/>And just edit that line... Good Luck...

I'm thinking your just plain unlucky. It should be randomly choosing the weather, though you must note that the weather at the start of the game will be the same throughout the entire game. There is no changing of the weather in game yet, and developement of such a feature isn't expected for quite a while.

Hm. Yeah, probably is bad luck.
In any case, reinstalling seems to have fixed it.
