ok, here's a quick, simple way to make the game more fun. they're called death messages. death messages are clever ways to announce that someone has lost the game. when a player dies, it would show it like a text chat.
ex. "Player 1 has died."
"Player 1 has bit the dust."
"Player 1 was the little train that couldn't."
The messages themselves would be a XML that would be referenced to in the main mod's XML.
i think we should do this just to add some flair and some humor into multiplayer game.

Hmm, not necessarily a bad idea. I would like to see the ability to play such a sound effect... Though, I wouldn't consider it at all prioirity..

Good idea! There is of course no message at all currently, and this would be a nice little feature. Ticket #188, target 0.3.1 (as Gabbe pointed out, easy to implement).

dont worry, i have a list of death messages that i can copy over from a Spring mod of mine. just leave that to me
