Canadian, grandparents were born in Czechoslovakia.Woohoo Czechoslovakia ;D ;D
BTW, you have a cool writing style in english at Japan ;)
A good way to tell how hard a language is to learn compared with other languages is how long it takes babies to learn to speak it.I'm not so sure that applies. After all, it takes a child usually around 5-8 years to be able to properly read and speak a language. On average, most languages should take an adult 6-12 months to learn, depending on many factors such as their familiarity with the language's grammatical structure, the language itself, the characters used in the language (ie: for an english speaking person, Italian would be far easier to learn than Japanese (I hear it's one of the easiest secondary languages to learn)).
I spoke my first sentence at 4 months old, but I don't think that's the average. :look:
Of course, only now after writing this I remember that we're talking about writing, not speaking. :P

Anyway, this is getting offtopic, so let's get back to the mod on hand:Is it for me?If so,if you say so,I'm getting ready to roll sir!
How much do you have left to do for an alpha, and when could we see such a release? For an alpha, having icons, balance, etc isn't a huge deal. In fact, even just releasing the models and a rough XML is usually enough for a start (like how Wciow released his Undead mod alpha). It let's us see the units (and stare in awe) even if it isn't properly playable.
Thx omega,sir.Cool. I'm sure a lot of people have been looking forward to it.
I've successfully uploaded the file on filefront(I have faced some difficulty searching upload page indeed).
there aren't really much in it,but plz try and hf!
Weird because Germans usually got fast internet connexions and Australies have...lets just say, not so good :D
Is it just my imagination, or do we have a LOT of Germans? Or maybe I'm just not used to it?Well, for Glest, that is partially because some publicized MG to some German sites...

Within their own country they're building some net across their country that will deliver 1 gigabit of internet speed.
I don't see how the speed of the internet effects how many people of that country would be on the board. I had dialup when I originally downloaded and played glest (well, I downloaded it on a grandparents internet (isn't it wierd when a 60 year old grandmother has better internet?) but that's not the point, and it could have downloaded on dialup, had I the time to waste 6 hours).
out of everyone, i would never have expected Omega to be the traitor! He has now been shunned....I don't see how the speed of the internet effects how many people of that country would be on the board. Are you saying that it would be a waste to spend 6 hours downloading Glest. :o Traitor!!! Seize him!
I envy the fact that small countries could actually do such a thing.

I would have thought it was too dry and maybe too warm. I guess I learned something.Same. I knew mountains can have snow, but never expected a large city to have it that close to the equator... Of course, you don't know "cold" until you've been to canada ;). Where I live, temperatures can range from -40 - +40 (Celsius of course) throughout the year.
