On the off chance that you're 1.) reading this, 2.) are a United States citizen, 3.) are over the age of 18, and 4.) are not otherwise prohibited from voting, today is election day! Get out and vote! GO GO GO!
Discussion about voting is completely permissable in this thread. Politics are not.
Sticky for just today.

Just got back from the polls. :D
Time to turn this country around!

....You aren't 18. What do you mean you just got back from the polls?
-
You think I sit at home while my Dad votes?
I go with him and fill in the ovals. :D
-
today was my first time voting...it's so fun.
God bless America!

I like how you aren't obligated to vote in America. In Australia you have to, which means the people who don't know anything about politics vote :-[
-
Who`d you vote for?
On a sidenote; I think you should be able to vote once your 16. I think then you are able to understand politics atleast smething.
-
Who`d you vote for?
Hmm, that would lead to politics, which is apparently a problem for this community...

Is that even legal?

Hmm.... I think that voting should be totally optional. Sure, we end up with only subliminal turnover rates, but at least this way, only the people who know what they're doing (I've heard of people who just randomly voted because they had no clue about what was going on) will vote.

I disagree. While sure I think some of us (like me!) are suitable for voting, the vast majority of the people I know are totally clueless about politics, and would fall into the "vote on candidate who's poster they saw last" category.

doesnt make it legal ::)

Why would it be illegal guys? it's not like there is another vote because of it...... His dad vote is completely unchanged, it doesn't matter how he filled it out :S
-
I didnt say it should be illegal, i just said that just because he had done it since he cannot remmeber doesnt make it legal.
Example:
I have stole gold ever since i can remember :|
That doesnt make it legal ::)
