My favorite movie of all time.... either anchorman or Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas.
I don't usually like movies though, I'd would probably prefer to sit and listen to music for two hours. Though ^ these are just awesome :)

Well, I can't say I can agree with all of your choices... I found the harry potter movies have recently taken a downfall. Each movie has gotten worse and worse, straying from the amazing books, changing things poorly (everything feels like it was thrown together in a blender)... I haven't seen the new one yet, and hope it will be better. I'll wait for it on DVD though, since watching movies without captions is a bit hard for me...

why it sucked? the first 2 harry potters battels. it was totaly awesom. lots of awesom. nothing can be more awesom meybe. but alah. he's so awesom.

What I dislike about the harry potter movies is how terrible they've been getting from the book. I hope part 7 will be better, since it's split in two parts and has a different director. The first 2 were fine, but each book kept getting better and better and each movie kept getting worse and worse... I LOVE the harry potter series, but the movies were terrible... :(
Oh, so another HAS heard of the Tuxedo... That was a good one, don't think it was too popular though...

i see. theres also harry potter grew very old after the first 2, he was the same actor looks pretty much same age at first 2. but at third part. he was much much older. the movie was definetly diffrent then the books. i know. but the changes i realy liked. such as harry potter 4. the book says doby gave harry the herbs. but movie shows nevielle does.
i saw the toxedo. am not a fan for it.

like this 48 hours crap. its kind of "g@y" i watched the first 3 minutes and i judge it was some teens and foul heads trying to make a long video (which contains nothing but crappy singing)

Yep, I've already seen it as well as the sequel. I enjoy watching documentaries and as such, the latest of the Zeitgeist films Zeitgeist: Moving Forward (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w) has been released and it is so far the best of the 3 films in my opinion.

The concept of political documentaries is one that is very subjective. One could say that every single movie non-fiction and fiction alike are political, they represent the zeitgeist of the time. Therefore according to your statement, we shouldn't have this thread at all because any movie could light the fire of a "political" firefight.

I'm not making any statements other then I enjoy watching those movies. This thread is called, "Whats your favorite movie of all time". Its not entitled, whats your favorite fiction movie that is not politically motivated and won't offend anyone on this thread movie.

I agrue that no good will come of anyone posting anything about themselves. Any movie could possibly offend someone based on their own cultural background. A pacifist might hate the idea of anyone watching the typical american gore fest of a movie. Or a German might hate the fact that someone is watching a highly politically involved movie like Valkorie.
Basically you are hating on my preference for movie watching for some theoretical reason that hasn't happened nor will happen and thats why I have a problem with you saying that I am disallowed to post movies that I enjoy watching.

I see a lot of docs, so i kind of follow the mainstream of documentaries. Since i dont really know any other way to test all the things they claims to be truths in documentaries, but i do use common sense, that would be my grain of salt :P

DUDE, YOU CANT GET A LIFE WITHOUT SCHOOL, SCHOOL MAKES YOU AND OTHER STUDENTS INTO ELITE UNITS.
you cant learn more then school, its pretty much in these days something like "path to glory" atleast in these days......
documnatryiees are stuffs i dont know alot about, by the way, school gives you slow, yet good and a healthy progress of learning things like me in today, we learnt how to 3D a map, in some way, and we learnt more in the english class, english learns you english but slowly and using poor methods that effects the mind greatly to know english, but not the real english like this one here, we also learn ONLY british accents, also about 20% of the english class learns you other thyings, like uysing maps, talking properly, timing in the world.

Documentaries give you more depth knowledge, for example i already know a lot about planets, then i dont go to school to learn the basics of my "Passion" then i go watch documentaries wich can give WAY more knowledge.

Mine would have to be Ginger Snaps, oddly enough, I like loads of films but whenever asked what's my favourite, this one always comes to mind. The Wolfman remake was pretty awesome, meh I just love werewolf films all together! That's why my favourite TV show has to be Being Human (UK version) but that's a bit OT!

:D yeah the movie was great.
Well combined fiction with real japanese history.
also Japanese were pictured very naturally in the film (for movie made in hollywood :O), samurais in the movie was a bit romanticized though.
