wow I also absolutely love these tracks!
Everytime I hear the starship troopers theme,It flashes back me the epic dropship landing scene, and when the crimson tide's theme played in the first Gene hackman's speech scene of the movie,I was very excited!(I think submarine movies have good musics overall). :D

My favorite movie music composers are Basil Poledouris(may rest in peace!) ,Hans zimmer, vangelis, kawai kenji.

My favorite pieces are these,

Well, I never saw it, so don't complain to me. Admins, if you think about deleting this, I'd like to be contacted to discuss first, if I'm not, I'll be pissed.

He had posted about a dozen threads in OT all along the lines of "what do you think about X?", so I did a lot of merging, locking, and/or deleting to stave off the flood.  That most likely included whatever sound track thread he's talking about.  As for you, you're fine.  Carry on.

Archmage, since you love those kind of topics, what about searching around for either "immediate music" or "two steps from hell" both of those make such epic trailer musics.

Too long; didn't listen  :P

Since your Japanese, you probably would enjoy many of Square Enix's sound tracks, wouldn't you? I can't help but think the Final Fantasy games have some of the best game music to grace the industry. It has really poured out some classics.

I know the FF and DQ series had some of the best soundtracks particularly in SNES age.
But don't be insulted, to be honest I HATE JRPGs.  :P
Recent JRPGs are seriously nothing more than garbage.

Don't forget about Chrono Trigger, guys! The music (http://bluelaguna.net/music/ct/mp3s.php) was part of the reason that it was such a great game.

Same thing for Cave Story (http://www.cavestory.org/downloads_music.php).

I love FF music! I just saw "Distant Worlds: music of Final Fantasy" April 2 concert. It was amazing!

Chrono Trigger is great! I loved the Chrono Cross sound track even better! My favorite soundtracks of all time.

ok, i believe that the soundtrack often makes a game just as much as the gameplay does.

some notable examples are:

Universe at War: Earth Assault

C&C Generals/Zero Hour

Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Total Annihilation (or actually, anything made by Jeremy Soule)

All of the Fable games (I, II, and III)

and Constellus

it would take so much time (and bandwidth) to show you guys all of that music, so im going to tell you to go to Youtube and look them up yourself

I think it would have took an extra five minutes at most. You do have Comcast, if I recall correctly.  :P

I recommend the entire Extra Credits series to anyone interested in gaming as more than mindless entertainment.
