Hi guys :) After playing glest for several months thought I'd make a post to say hi! and to post a map I just made.
Not sure if people will like it. If you are into realism you will definitely hate this map =p It's a 8 player unnatural, symmetrical map.

Welcome to Glest Amuk. Thank you for your contribution. I would advice you take a look at the follow pages though:
- How to take an image of your map (https://forum.megaglest.org/index.php?topic=6315.0)
- Map editing on the Glest Wiki (https://docs.megaglest.org/Maps/Editing)

Honestly a map editor image is OK for me usually...and in this case it would be better than an in-game one.
Interesting map. Not sure how it would be in-game yet, but the first thing that needs to be done is to switch around half of the gold with half of all the stone that is outside of the bases.

Welcome and thanks for contributing back! I look forward to playing this.
A map editor screen-shot tells a lot about the mechanics of a map and we are experts at interpreting it :) A in-game map shot is also nice - it would be nice to have both side-by-side :)
