English and spanish speakers don't mix well together. It's often so that people who speak one of these languages do not speak the other. So, if responsible moderators can be found to manage them, why not have spanish language forums, too? Of course, those responsible people would first have to volunteer.

I wouldn't be opposed to having a forum in Spanish on this board. I've been a bit scarce lately, though, and I don't know if any of our other moderators know the language well enough. :-[

I said that there wasn't a forum in Spanish, but I didn't say there shouldn't be... as long as we A) have a large enough Spanish-speaking community to make it worthwhile, and B) have enough moderation for it. I'm game for it once I get internet at my new apartment, which should be toward the end of this month.

Verdict: No. We're not big enough for the english community as it is, can you imagine trying to add spanish?
I have nothing against localization, and support it normally, but the cons strongly outweigh the pros here. Most forum boards except the biggest (eg, boards where no human could ever view more than 5% of the posts created) only offer one language, for a good reason.
