East Asian themed with no time/faction linked objects. Designed to compliment Japanese Faction and Ming faction but can apply to any faction.
Credit notes: Some glest/magitech tile set components remain (Some tree and rock models from Dark forest, some sounds from Mediterranean)

Nice tileset! :thumbup: the bamboos looks good.
But the land looks a bit deserted. More green plz.

I took these photos when I also tried to make a Bamboo tileset. I failed, because the fine structure of bamboo got lost in Glest.
( I don't know who lives where, but maybe one of you can provide some more / better self made bamboo photos for burningwell? )

These are bamboo (pole) parts that I made by photoshop for Taketaba units in my mod.

If you want to see it you could download and play.
I'll work on a better version in a week or two. This one gets a lot of it's tiles from the scifi twighlight set. I think that a steppes version will work better based off twighlight
I was planning a Japanese rural town tile set but that's a whole lot more work
