Title: [(p) fixed] Black screen on start

Hello,

First, i apologize for my bad english, i'm french. I hope you understand my explanation

When i start the game on fullscreen mode, there is no image and i have a black screen. The audio and the game seems to work correctly, but no image. When i switch to window mode (ALT + ENTER), the game work properly. I have the same problem on version 3.7.1 and 3.8 beta 1 on :
All drivers are up to date for this machine, and the hardware configuration is :

Edit (filux): It's most likely fixed by the way auto switching resolution into native resolution for desktop.

Interesting (and well comprehensible).
What happens when you switch to windowed, then switch to full screen mode (again)?

I can't switch from windowed to full screen. It's the same thing on Windows 7 and ubuntu 13.04. Only full screen to windowed switching is working properly for me.

Full screen / windowed switching is only supported on Linux due to limitations on how the OpenGL context is treated on Windows.

What happens when you try to switch to full screen on Linux (i.e. please don't just say "doesn't work", but explain what you get instead of getting what you expected to get)?

Please also test other OpenGL applications which do allow to switch between full screen and windowed (Extreme Tux Racer, Armagetron Advanced are such applications, you can switch in their options menus).

I had a very similar problem. It is quite rare (but always at the worst time :D).
Occasionally there was a problem with start the game in full screen mode.
Changing the settings in the options didn't help for it (quite a lot tested).

The problem never occurs when the game launches in the window, and since long time I run the game in this way so I do not know if something has changed with it.
