Titi was showing the map "ragor" to Akbar in the game menu with FOV switched off so that Akbar could see where the resources were to be found. But, the minimap was too small for Akbar so see where the resources were. So, what I'm suggesting is that in the menu if you click on the mini-map it expands to fill most/ all of the screen so that it can be seen in more detail. (I believe Akbar actually said he tried to do this :) )

Sounds like a nice feature to me. Ideally any user should be able to expand it locally (on her screen only) and be able to activate the resource view, and to close the large / extended view. I.e. whether or not you can see the larger map preview and resources should not depend on the server admin / headless controlling user.

Both client and host can click on the map preview now to see the map fullscreen. Click again to restore to normal size.

I changed it a tiny bit so in case the map is zoomed only the zoomed map is rendered, nothing else.
-
When the zoomed map is rendered, clicking should only dismiss the map, nothing else. Right now it is possible to (accidentally) click on something when trying to dismiss the map.
-
This should behave like this! Did you have trouble with it or was it just meant as a reminder ?
-
When connected to a server it is possible to click on a button when the map is displayed. Custom game menu is fine though.

I can add more details for this. Results from few fast tests:
- on single player mode is good,
- as host is good,
- as client on headless server is bad: "it is possible to click on a button when the map is displayed"
- as client on real server - not tested.

ok I will fix it.
update: fixed in svn now
