ok 1 problem and one question
Problem : i tried changing my windows theme from windows 7 to windows 7 basic ( for those who dont understand go to background press righ click> personalize>themes.
On windows 7 the game runs properly but when i change it to windows 7 basic ( to increase general pc fps ) the game starts i can hear the audio effects i can see the game window , when i run my mouse in the game window it disappears and i when i click on it i can skip the start up music etc etc BUT the visual doesnt start, in the window of the game all i see is my background image.
Note i can play when running the them windows 7 but not in windwos 7 basic, in both cases the game starts but in basic mode its like the game images are stack ,
Question.
i play on windowed mode, since the fullscreen isnt working properly ( super low fps black screen >game screen > black screen > screen etc etc ) i was playing around with the resolution on windowed mode to make it look like it was full screen , but when the resolution reached 1900x1038 _32 or something the game window became too big and i cant change the resolution or any other settings in that matter simple because the save/return buttom is out of the screen of the computer its too low , and i cant drag the game window any higher
help pls

Is it fixed ? ( Be sure to really install up to date graphics drivers )
For the too big window problem: You can start MG from a CMD window with some parameters:
megaglest.exe --resolution=800x600 --fullscreen=false
Or you can either edit or delete your glestuser.ini config file:
https://docs.megaglest.org/MG/INI
-
Press Windows button write this.
%appdata%/megaglest/
Then right click
Glestuser.ini
and press delete
You should now be able to start the game again.
I don't know what to do about the black screen in basic mode. (il check this myself).
Starting the game in Windows 7 basic mode works for me.
