Here is a preliminary, preview, to the models that I've built for the next mod. I'm not sure if I'm using the all. Not even if they remain so. :| We'll see. Some are inspired by a game that I only know of screenshots. Unfortunately, I still lack the infantry units. ;) The build will probably take.

I assume this is inspired by Command and Conquer judging by the Mammoth Tank on lower right :)

Anyways great Structures, and Humvee and Tank. Though I'm not super fond of the buggy models, the feel like they are lacking some detail.
Rather intrigued by the structure in the middle, with the add on buildings.

PS I wonder were I heard this tittle before... :P JK I really enjoyed Prax and look forward to this mod as well!

I liked it so much that I'm using your panzerwagen for a game I've been working on this past week and I used the texture for some related things I've been working on. :)

I don't think the buggies are bad, just not as detailed as the jeep and tank models.

Personally, I think the tank, buggies and jeep all look as detailed as each other, and they all look good to me. If I were to criticise any of the models it would both the flying unit models. The helicopter looks too obese, and since I presume it's meant to look wide I think that could look a little better by adding extra items (e.g. air ducts, more guns etc.).
I my opinion, the hover thing looks too much like a dodgy R/C toy. I think that may be improved by adding extra stuff also.

The headquarters looks fantastic. I look forward to seeing this all collect to become a faction.

Yes also, but I meant the game "Battle Worlds: Kronos", that was the main source of inspiration.

Okay, the name was of course an allusion to your great mod "Annex". :P  Whether it is at the end of this, however, is still questionable. :|

Good work. I find your model, really great. :thumbup: The combination possibilities are great. I never thought that someone who knows what to do something with this texture. As I've been wrong me. ;)

I just wanted to do something different. ;) The "Statosa" the 2nd faction for prax is (work in progress) 70% ready. The buildings are finished except for a few construction and destruction models. Main problem (statosa) is the lack of infantry troops. If you have to offer a beautiful animated crossbowmen, bring it on.  :)

Yes ok, your criticism is justified, as I said are all first time just ideas may I change there's one or the other. However nice that it still likes you.  :)

Well, after some time, here first a trial version. (go to start-post)

Is just available in german and english (don´t forget the hook ;) )

This is not a 100% ready version, but i guess for testing is that ok. Have fun. :)

Playing with your mod I found 2 bugs in the engine that effect your mod:

morphing:  morphing the "Zentral modul" resulted in storage 1100 before ( which was wrong ) .  Now its upgraded from 500 to 600. Maybe you need to take this into account.

particles: Many particle systems made MG pretty slow. This is a lot improved now-

Some issues:
- AI has some problems with food. Sometimes they attack you with a very "hungry" army which is nearly dead.

- MG has serious path finding problems with big units. Maybe you can shrink some more units a bit down so they fit to size 1 ? This will improve performance a lot which was an issue playing with many units.
Suggestion:
Make all vehicles a bit smaller
Raketenwagen Panzerwagen and Spaehwagen can maybe be size 1 units ?

Thanks titi, for the work on morphing and particles. Is fixed in next upload.

To the vehicles I would say, there build I rather some new maps. Especially for this mod. Since then the infantry, would become too small supposed.

The modeling and animations are well made in general, and particle effects are nice. The health bar is really good!
but textures of vehicles are looks flat, IMO. You relies too much on the green camo texture on every vehicles in your mod, if you work some more on them, they looks more better.

Most animations of the infantry are from Archmage´s spearmen.
Yes, textures could be even better. However, also gameplay, balancing, particles and sounds.;D  If are still some building sites. :O

Are you using Google Translate while typing your posts?
On my previous post; The infantry looks like from Halo or some other video game I don't tolerate to watch. Though it is your "original" models, they are best replacement of Archmage's spearman unit, so I kind of "like" your original models, again, based on various video games.

Can we download the old human models somewhere ? I only have g3d's for them. Maybe they are useful for someone else :)

Talking about this, what about putting this mod on github like we did with Barrilion or dark magic ? By this nothing gets lost:

I think the new soldiers models are far better than the previous version's. The Flame Throwers are nice! Animations are good also. If I am allowed to wish so much, The models could use more details, but OK for Top-side view.

CPU-Mega really loves latest version prax_next_0.4.6 . They are so strong, we never had a real chance in all games we played. So you did a really good job improving the CPU player!

Some vehicles are not worth the price and should be improved a bit. Especially the biggest tank should get  a lot more armor! Its priced like 600 gold or something like this and cannot even kill 3 soldiers in a typical mass attack of the AI. Enabling splash attack for it might be a good idea too.  :)

 ( btw I edited your first post and let the download link point to https://atze.megaglest.org/techtrees/ now so people can always choose latest version. )

We played this (version 0.5.6 ) yesterday and this is what I think:

- human units should at least have an auto health of 1. By this, starving workers can recover.
- turrets are hard to break and by this games get very long if people use lots of turrets. Even a pure vs CPU fight took 1 hour for us because the CPu made so many turrets. How about adding/modifieng a tank or something so it does not get so much damage from the turrents? It should be able to fire at the turrets before it dies. And it should have a powerful shot that does real damage to the turrets. A group of this vehicle should be able to break a little mixed group of turrets. Currently this can only be done with helicopters as far as I know. Or did I miss a unit which is able t do this ?

Do use upgrade "medikit".  ;)

I see there's a more recent version (0.5.7 (https://atze.megaglest.org/techtrees/prax_next_0.5.7.7z)) that was released on 22-Aug-2016.
