Why is it called "Stone And Wood" when there is practically no stone or wood?

You may see it now, but in-game players will be short on wood.

Did you play it yet, or you just judge from looking at it?
As you might have noticed this map is no longer in alpha or beta stage as we already played  it a lot with 4 players and its very fun. Yes, you have to build something near the big woods later in game, but that's nothing serious and I think maps with all resources in one place without need to expand are simply boring.

Try the map, it's good ;)

how is this supposed to play 8 player the players in the center of the map are spawing a stone throw away from each other.

It's meant to be played player 1..4 vs 5..8.
