Hello MG ppl,
I've come up with an idea for a scenario in which whoever you kill, gets converted and becomes yours to own and use. After a few research I managed to make it :
https://github.com/KeithSammut/possession_obsession
This is really fun to play, and if you guys like it, I might change it and insert network slots to make this multiplayer mode.
Your's Truly,
Keith Sammut

It was challenging for me, too. I didn't win on the first try.
Some things to expect when this is played:
It's hard to micro-manage units when they keep changing.
Food supply can change rapidly when you accumulate the enemy units

Yea man, it's rather hard, but it's still fun :)
Oh and you probably wont believe this, but exactelly as you told me there was a problem with the starvation, I experienced it aswell, and I think i've come up with a fix for it ;) it'll be fixed tommorrow. Thanks for pointing it out though.

You're welcome, Keith. It's weird that you got my bug report at the exact same time you experienced it, lol

Fixed the errors m8, try downloading it again :)

Cool, I've downloaded the update.
In the pic I attached above, it shows all 4 factions as tech. I'll note for people that haven't tried this yet, the factions are: human player - Tech
3 Mega Factions: Egypt, Roman, and Magic.
The results screen must show tech in each faction because I took over all their units and bases. I could control magic initiates, and roman and egyptian slaves, and build units with their barracks.
Have you considered having the re-created units (units that have "switched sides" appear at the player's startLocation, instead of right in the middle of the battlefield. It's very difficult to control units when they keep changing, esp. in a battlefield littered with dead bodies.
It becomes hard to tell which unit belongs to me, and suddenly I'll have an enemy spearman or mummy right next to one of my archers or archmages.

I remember playing this very fun scenario last year.
I forked the project and made a small modification to give it network support for up to 3 players. It's on a separate branch. To download with git:
git clone https://github.com/andy5995/possession_obsession.git possession_obsession_fork --branch multi_player
Whomever would like to try this with me sometime, let me know...
Earth Breach, have you specifically asked titi to put possession_obsession into the mod center yet?
-
I gave up, seeing how he acted for the seventh element scenario which was actually made pretty well

I'm re-organizing and making improvements to the branch I made; in the mean-time, the above 'git clone' command won't work. I'll post a new link hopefully soon.

I started a separate thread for my multi-player fork: https://forum.megaglest.org/index.php?topic=9917.0
