Title: new network scenario - possession obsession
Post by: andy_5995 on 19 February 2017, 20:46:18
This is a fork of Earth-Breach's single-player scenario (https://forum.megaglest.org/index.php?topic=9842.0)

I just made some small changes to his ingenious scenario to make it a multi-player scenario.

On Github at: https://github.com/andy5995/possession_obsession/tree/develop

Once the alphapack directory is copied to your MG techs folder, it can be used as a stand-alone mod/techtree

1 player can control 4 different factions: tech, Egypt, Romans, and Magic

Latest release:
2018-02-20 - v1.1 (https://github.com/andy5995/possession_obsession/releases/tag/v1.1)

v1.0 released: https://github.com/andy5995/possession_obsession/releases/tag/v1.0

I thought about integrating the remastered Egypt graphics and sounds (https://forum.megaglest.org/index.php?topic=9849.0) into the next release. Do I need permission to do that?

I think I'd wait to see if this scenario is played and well-liked before I did anything else to it.

Bug: as a stand-alone tech tree, the AI never attacks, it only builds a farm.

But when either of the scenarios is played, the CPU will attack as it should.
