Hi,
I am trying to do a clone of MG. I know it will take time (maybe years).
I still have to learn 3D (1 week ago I didn't know the first thing about 3D).
I already converted Maps but Tilesets and Factions are underway.

But here is my progress so far

Glowing meshes ( models can glow like particles do ).
Console message for finished upgrades.

Off topic / Minilens: a free/libre puzzle platform game

A game I made with couple of users of Godot Engine

1000 years after post-apocalyptic Earth, many form of lifes went extinct, including humans. An alien robot series, called Minilens, are cleaning up earth and collecting surviving flora. The game is won by destroying all Radioactive Barrels and collecting all flora. Aliens forgot that Earth has gravity, therefore Minilens can't jump.

I think its a good idea to add Aztecs to Megapack.
Worker walking animation isn't so good, and Aztecs are a bit strong, but generally, I think they would fit well.

If a slot is closed, its impossible to change it to something else, we fix it by Reloading Last Settings.

To reproduce, join a 3.10-beta headless , change a slot to closed, leave, wait a bit, join again.

Volcanic Island tileset can't be downloaded in lobby, only in Game Mods

Hi, I saw that MG installer on windows install one file also at c:\ , its the installer cover picture, even after uninstalling the game, that picture is still there.

Maps, tilesets and scenarios / [Map] Progress or Die (32x1024)

This is a very long map , meant to be played for hours  8)  .
It may LAG , so play it with tileset Desert2.
Sorry but I couldn't take a screenshot , its really long and nothing can't be seen.
Also the mini map lies  :P

MegaGlest / MG Launcher/Lobby

I'm thinking of making a MG Launcher/Lobby inspired from SpringRTS Lobby http://springlobby.info/landing/index.php

I'm developing it with pyQt4 , if you have any suggestions please let me know , I plan to start coding tomorrow.

Whats done
- Asking for MG directory
- Tries to find MG data dir , if not , it will ask
- If name newbie or null , input dialog
- Showing games
- Joining games
- Auto join games
- Notifications (currently linux only)

Mods / [W.I.P Techtree] - Unamed

Hi, I started working in a techtree , I found all the needed models (many have animations) , what I want is to make more air fights.

Windmill and Daemon will be replaced, since they look odd. Maybe many things will be changed since its still the very beginning.
If i finish until the end of this year, it will be a personal success  :P

In 800x600 display things are not centered and in Menu > Options , and some parts of buttons are out of display , I tested in 1024x768 + they work fine

I wasn't sure where to post this so i posted it here.
There is some problem with "FREETYPE something" , you should apply this fix at CEGUI folder in order to build

I also installed libfreetype6-dev before building, but that might not be needed.

Feature requests / Schemas for multiplayer

When in lobby , to much time goes on how to setup game, If there were some presets sometimes we could use them.

Here it is how it would look like


They could be Humans vs CPU and Humans vs Humans and depending on number of players, schemas will filter.

They could be

None
1 vs 1 - this could have map One on One, tiles "something" etc.
5 vs 3
Easy CPU 1
Easy CPU 2
Hard CPU 1
