Every modder likes to have free textures/pictures without license hassle. Sadly pixabay does no longer provide public domain pictures and their new license is not compatible with opensource licenses!!!

But there is a new source now:
https://pxhere.com/ ( and another working clone: https://www.maxpixel.net/ )

I think it has tons of the former pixabay textures with the good old CC0-license. Better use this source now, so wou will get no license trouble.

Thats true, but

Pizza Pie Island is not really 5vs3, its more like all vs all
Devil's Paradise is simply too easy with all  those good players
Caution Landscape is ok, but its not that hard too once you know a way how to win.

So lets do some new :)

We need some more challenging 5 player maps! It happens very often that we end up with 5 players and want to play, but there are not many 5vs3 maps. We need some more!
Please create one( or some ), test it and post it here  :angel:

the minimap does not have a "color". It shows the map in a reduced form. I have no idea how to let  it look white. In unexplored state its a tiny bit white but in general transparent.

balance, AI playablility, teamcolor adn so on is missing. Mod center is for things that are ready to play.

AI does not play these units the right way and playing vs AI is a very important part of MG. SO no, it will not be added.

Mod center is not made for beta tests . Mods must be in a quite poolished, play ready state to get added there.
This mod is not "ready" yet.

mod center is me, but content there is NOT in my responsibility. If people want to fix things they need to do it first, publish things here in the forum and if they are really much better I will put them in the mod center.
Most mods in the mod center are hosted on megaglest.org.

Problems I saw while playing it:

Teamcolor is often not visible enough. For trees maybe a better particle effect using teamcolor can be used to fix it.

Its very complicated to build the main tree because you need several upgrades. Its a bit non intuitive because you start with a unit like this gameplay gets lame with this. You cannot expand early as strategy.

AI city is much too crowded. Problem is wrong unit size and maybe an additional "AI build size" is needed to fix this.

Are those maps tested? Will they be added to the mod center?

hi, it's nice to see you again Pizza90!

Yes all maps are tested, fun to play and I think in a final state already. Those will find there way into the game. Maybe I will put them into the modcenter, but thats just some extra work to do. But .. I should copy them to the headless servers, so people can play them. Will try to do this tonight.

I think its VERY likely that the discord client is the problem. The overlay system of discord is buggy. Especially if there are other active overlay Systems like Origin and maybe steam.

Please try this:

In windows system search for Touchpad and click Mouse & Touchpad settings
Disable delay; No Delay (Always On)

And this:
If you have Origin( EA ) running in background, disable/stop it. Their (invisible) overlay system sometimes blocks the mouse inputs.

Is it external mouse (USB)? Is it a gaming mouse with a special driver ?

What about the touchpad ? Does the click work there ? ( try with and without mouse )

Which keyboard layout (country) is it ?

Try to get a used card Geforce 750 or the much much slower geforce 730. The 750 should have a price of round about 50$ and for the 730 don't pay more than 30$ its not worth it. These prices are based on the prices I see here in germany in the used market.  Normal used prices here are 750 for 90$ and 730 for 50$, but better don't pay this, just wait a bit if you are really low on money.

I suggest that we first make it available in the mod center. Other factions can be linked or directly embedded in this mod.
Suggested name for the techtree: MG_HD or MG_Next_Gen

I don't know where you are form but maybe the keyboard layout makes some trouble.

In this case try this:
