Hello, since the mmorpg project is a long way i decided to split the work and make different steps.
1st developing a single player rogelike gdr and after that is done develop it in mmorpg
For the first stage you can see the actual develpoing stage here http://playcanv.as/p/rjC13fWv i'm using the models i made for glest some years ago and some new one. I would like to have some feedback and some suggestion from you guys. I also need some help with texutes (since it's the same models on glest shouldn't be difficult for some of the mods artists. Also lowpoly models for enemies are welcome. If someone is interested just email me i can provide also some model to use as base.
In game Keys I for inventory Q for quests C for character info SHIFT to keep the player still while fighting CTRL to run when clicking around RIGHT CLICK to interact in shops. The dungeon is inside the temple at the top left corner of the village.
The game use WebGL and works in browser...i hope on every OS :D
PS the camera is still a bit weird but i will make it better in next updates.

Hello everybody, this is a strange request but maybe someone can be interested, i'm trying to make a mmorpg using playcanvas, i will use as base the models that i did some year ago for glest, but the actual challenge is the code, is anyone with decent javascript knowledge interested to help develop this project? If so u can contact me ayrin.g@lostinn.com or ask for more details.

Hello everybody, i know i was disapared for long time and now i'm back asking for help.
I haven't modeled for about 2 yrs and i'm trying to learn about webgl, when i export a model from 3ds max in obj or js i have a model without textures and without animations. So also if i'm able to use it in webgl is useless.
My questions are... can i export an animation in obj format? and the texture? if the answer is yes..can someone send me 1 model for try it in webgl?
If someone use 3ds max can explain me how to export it in 3ds coz seems the export to obj don't work as expected.

Hello everyone... i missed for long time... how's everyone doing?
Well my question is a bit tecnical, does everyone know anything about webgl and 3d graphic into browsers? It seems that is supported by chrome and firefox 4 but i've tryed it without success, maybe i'm at fault somewhere but i would like to try it and i will not give up so easly.... someone can help with some hint?

Hello, what about to allow a random aspect of units?
example 3 different kind of swordman randomly selected when builded
the problem i think is into grouping them as the same kind of unit am i right? (double klick over a unit)

Hi, this is a test for a dwarf (i have to enlarge it a bit more), is ugly, but i don't know how to remap the image so the face appear longish, isomeone want help me in remapping?
oh yes this is for a project called War for Kallen where races will fight against evil wizard Al Kazim and his armies (Based upon 'the 5 seals' novel written by me)

Hi everybody, i've been far from months from glest, i've already to see the new 2.0 version  :-[  but i'll see it soon promise
Well I write because i'm working on a free rpg yet in deep developing status but maybe some of you guys are interested in help.
Programming is php so playable in all browsers and some graphic helps can be appreciated too (our graphic is very busy at the moment)
I write here because a lot of ppl are working on fantasy monsters and character and a render of some image could be used in my game...oh yes the name is World of Kallen (based on World of Phaos code)
A dream is to make this game in 3d like glest in the future...
