Press Windows button write this.

%appdata%/megaglest/

Then right click

Glestuser.ini

and press delete

You should now be able to start the game again.

I don't know what to do about the black screen in basic mode. (il check this myself).

Starting the game in Windows 7 basic mode works for me.

I must insist in that you are missing the point dear sir.

We are pointing out that during battle we do not have the time to press serveral buttons instead of just one.

This is a request for a "one-button screenshoot without hud" keypress key.

Me and Tomreyn Ran a game today First with Atze then With Just me and Tomreyn.

In both the first and second game, i was running my starting units out to scout and then attack the enemy. After attacking/discovering there would pass around 30 seconds to 60 seconds and i would get a CRC mismatch.

These games are generally plauged with terrible FPS for me the first game with Atze i had 3-4 FPS.
The Second game with Tomreyn was i felt better than last time i now had 10-19 fps. (this was still in the first 4 minutes of the game mind you, From memory i did not notice the actualy passed time)

I Think it's cool we can control is so precisely as it is atm, What we need i think is more options for controlling it.
(fx consume on end,consume on start). Stuff like this.

And for gods sake make it modular.

The entire skill/command system should be like lego bricks.

Yes, This build also does not work for me!

I played a game with tomryen and soon after we began i got a CRC mismatch.

We were just a "few" minutes in.(5-10) i had built a barrack a blacksmith and a farm, And building workers and the enemy was hunting down one for tomreyns early scouts all the way back to our bases when suddenly i got CRC mismatch and was thrown out.

This is with the 3.9.1 Data folder And the Binaries tomreyn gave me.

The load was pretty evenly distributed over all cores, so 60-70% load.

And tomreyn Also said his core load was not over 50% So thats even less.

Per your previeus post it should then be memory transferring(wich i dont know what is).
But my ram is plenty fast.

Just this day i effortlessly tabbed out between a running Starcraft 2 game and Modern Warfare running simultaniusly.

What would be really usefull here is a predefined benchmark test inside MG,Or at least some test scenario where you can go -spawn 200 Archers And the other player can go -spawn 200 Snakes.

Perhaps with some recorder that recordes certain performance specific items while units are attacking and so forth.
Stuff like that.

My CPU was not Maxed out, my GPU was downright borred,(no GPU load 14% ca), 600 VRam Used.) And around 5 Gigabyte free ram.

Perhaps have settings for those? Things, Also you could have it default to not show bars at all but only show them when pressing alt?. Perhaps some combination of those?

hold tab show units health , Buildings always show health bars.(default never show unit health bars always show buildings)
hold tab show both units and buildings health bars (default never show health bars)

As you can see for large units and buildings the current implementation use up alot of screenspace and makes the game cluttered.

Sometimes you wan't to learn fast, especially if you want get better fast to play with friends who already play, Perhaps get tips from others. Playing a entire game of mg only to learn a little bit can be very annoying.

That is not the point. When you are busy fighting you don't have time to do other stuff than winning honestly you almost dosn't have time to press the screenshot key much less press f8. and then screenshot.

This is a bad idea.

Thare are many culprits with this.

1.Players Joining games to anoy other players and then ruining it not building resources themselves spamming units all the time.

2.If you can change it from ingame imagine you get up arguing with a player he then decides to troll and and just build alot of high resources eating up food for your troops and making your troops die.

3.It promotes single-team-single-faction-play. fx. Tech-Tech-Tech Vs Indian-Indian-Indian
What benefits does this give if you play different factions?. Only Gold and stone for most.

4.A ally decides to troll, Turning control of his units off, Imagine turning these settings off in the middle of a game?.

To be honest this narrows megaglest down, It dumbs down the game even tho it have a few interesting points it's overall bad for the gameplay.

Make it available for LUA and enable LUA for network(i think this already is possible.). And make maps that utilize this specially.

Instead for teamgames enable send/reciving resources from and to allies.

I see what you mean now, But for next time, add a box of red around the troubled area, I had trouble seeing what you meant at first. Also, Stat collection should stop the second the game stops aka the second a the game a player (or team) has won, This way we get correct player slots and , Just basically the stats get more accurate.
