well if your against groups then yah NEVER EVER use static fire but when your alone and you don't have people in front of your archmage then static fire comes into better use than ice nova

yah most of us humans know how but the AI just uses ice nova all the time
and when he's obviously going to die they just keep using ice nova instead of using static fire
cause what's the point of using the weaker move if your about to die and against
horseman they're nothing they get two hits and there dead but if they used static fire they might be able to bring the horseman with him when he dies

if you upload the resources and post the attack/armor types i can add it in on friday night ;)

i don't care if anyones faction is a joke i'll add it's attack/armor values and resources
so don't be afraid to ask because something in your faction makes you nervous
i want this to expand and include all factions attack/armor types and resources :D

Genesis is a tech that goes in the glest/tech folder

it is designed to run many mods

it has a summary of what it's are in the README that comes with the download

Latest genesis news:

just been released
the idea is that people download this and when they make a new faction or something(that uses new resources or attack/armor types) they will modify it and post the download
this is supposed to be like a made and updated by the people of the forums kind of thing
i will take all the new resources and attack/armor types that have been created and uploaded and i will put them together and call it the newest version of genesis

well thanks to whoever made that ogg file 8)

and about adding even more units:

I could have a new building called elemental_golem_tower that produced golems of each of the five elements
and i think i have enough flying things

and i still have to work on the magus of the old elements particle proj's

stuff i could use help on :

models(i don't know how to do models)
icons(i have made a few good ones but i'm not around my linux[it's way faster than this windows] a lot so i have my hands full of xml editing)
textures(only to make the current textures look better though)
 

anyway i'll upload genesis1.0 in a new topic ;D

i got the music from SST LD menu music does it have a copyright or something?
cause if so i will take it off and ask for other music

and i am currently working on elementals v1.2 and i have added a few things:

the magus of the old elements
changed gryphons name to gryphon of the old  elements
added some of huntermecas textures
added some upgrades change tree warriors name from tree warrior to elemental forest warrior
have improved a few textures
added the temple of the forest

these are the changes, although i don't think i have them all

please comment on this when it come out so that I can get some new ideas for v1.3

hmm well i'm also working on a tech like magitech but it's called genesis and it's designed to take most of the new factions i've expanded the genesis.xml and the resources folder

good the textures don't crash

but what does suppr. mean?

battlemage(magic)-fire elemental(elementals)
HP:700                 HP:700
Attack:100-180     Attack:100-180
Attack speed:60    Attack Speed:60

this is the elemental basis(or whatever you want to call it)
fire=attack of battlemage and HP of Battlemage
ice=more HP less Attack
storm= much more Attack much less HP
death=less HP more Attack
life=much less Attack, much more HP, and healing ability

in other words they are balanced(more HP less ATTACK)

so no i will not change the fire elementals HP

i'll download them all when i'm at my dads house cause that's the computer i use to work on elementals i'll be there tuesday-night and i'll get as much work done as possible then ok :)

and have you tested your textures on the game to see if it crashes or not? :-\

well no thank you on the XML i can handle that, i need someone who can do good textures like you(i like your textures by the way)to help me with textures so keep uploading those textures and i'll put some of them in my elementals 1.2

i'm thinking about armor so that any fire moves cannot hurt the fire elemental

but that will be in v2.0 right now let's just improve the textures ok :D
