Sounds good to me, but what is Japanese downloaded as? Its an awesome faction and should be playable with other factions, not just on its own.

Can you make a sticky locked thread that links to the wiki downloads page?

Ill move all the working faction links to the wiki. (And recommend ones that should be re-hosted)

Unfortunately most of these factions are just factions not techtrees, so they can't be directly put into the in-game download centre.

Maybe if you think its a good idea, I can combine some matching factions into techtrees?

Yes, I could easily beat Indians if I was Tech, however if my opponent was especially good at spamming stickmen early in game I might not survive on a 64x64 map.

Using this tool I converted the Game of Thrones 8 kingdoms world to a MegaGlest map, and then added the trees and other stuff.

Well you have your opinion but when your Persion and Im Tech I win,when your Egypt and Im Tech you win, when your Egypt and Im Romans, you win, when Im Tech and your Romans I win...

This means good player VS good player = Romans never wins. (But it is a pain to take out their base)

I haven't tested this recently in the svn, but from my experience norse is able to completely destroy a roman army fairly easily, but not roman defense (even with the weaker crossbows, other units can still be used to destroy the army)
Yes, that is what I am saying, I think Roman lacks in attack capability.

Egypts weakness is slow movement ;) .
Hint: Archers are the end for all snakes...

... and Roman is the strongest faction in my opinion.
Titi when is the last time you were Romans and attacked and killed a good player?

I have played a bunch of games against Egypt, and I have come to the conclusion that I think its OP.
All the units have splash which helps a ton, snakes seem too easy to produce and give lots of damage.
Just an idea to keep in mind next time your playing Egypt/against it.

Also I think while Romans have good defence units, their attack units aren't very good.
The battering ram and turtle formation are size 3, so the can't maneuver very well, the the other highest units are horse-men and gladiators.
I think the battering-ram/turtle formation should be beefed up a bit, or make a way for spear-men to create a turtle formation and brake it up for better manoeuvrability.
I also have and unit idea: The Siege Tower

EDIT: Of course all this is for after release.
