On my previous post; The infantry looks like from Halo or some other video game I don't tolerate to watch. Though it is your "original" models, they are best replacement of Archmage's spearman unit, so I kind of "like" your original models, again, based on various video games.

The Indian "Bull" texture should be the same position as the Tech "Cow" texture.

Omega, that's the right rotation/flip combination (180 degree rotation then a horizontal flip--combined to be a single vertical flip?). Now you can test the Bull model, you can see its eyes now. Just the problem is the teamcolor texture.

The texture of Bull from the Megapack (Indians faction) needs a rotation and a flip, literally; I tried it, but the team color is no longer present.

It's a quick mod, meaning it is made up of units from previous mods.

Nothing new to see, though; the units are directly from Tech, Imperial, and Warlords, which comes to this theme/mod.

Overall, there only consists of theme-based war machines. What about the infantry?

Well, there should be an achievement called "Bloodless Victory", which is to win without losing a single unit or building

I recommend changing the title achievements:
Viking > Odin's Bane
Swordsman > Technomancer
Cesar > Caesar

That's some of the suggestions. There should be achievements also for other mods.

I downloaded the old Glest version, and the model is the same with the Horseman. The attack type was "Sword", I repeat, and the same Rider from the docs file is still the same as today. Why "sword"? It attacks with its spear.

I was looking at the docs files and found this unusual unit from the Tech faction called "Rider", was there a model of a Rider somewhere? I couldn't find them, it is probably a unit from a previous Glest release.

The attack type was "Sword", not "Slashing", take note.

I disabled fog of war at the beginning of this problem.
While I was experimenting with my new medieval mod, I came across an old issue that when you switch teams, your former allies disappear on the world and minimap, and until you revisit your new opponents or switch back, the units come back on both.

Screenshots below.

I am on the Red team; Blue and Green are my former allies, while yellow is my new (once an opponent) ally when recently switched; then switched back to my former allies and yellow is an opponent again.
Note that shared units and resources are disabled.

Also the team numbers are incorrect, I and the two others were in team 1, not team 0; the yellow was team 2, not 1.

It's okay, this was once a request to create a medieval mod, but now with your advice, I am trying to make said mod for the future of this game.

The Feudal faction is almost done! I just need some help, such as new models (any working coded unit). I've been trying to find new models myself, but it has been years the older download links are not working.

For now, I am using placeholders:
Stable - Horsefarm (Indians), needs remodeling
Scout - Mounted Swordsman (Gauls)
Armed Peasant - Gladiator (Romans), remove shield and be retextured
Militia - Swordsman (Prax/Tech), suggest shield removed
Pikeman - Guard (Romans), suggest a Swordsman wielding Eliminator's Knight/Shadow Rider unit's weapon.
Crossbowman - Crossbowman (Imperial)
Trebuchet - Trebuchet (Crusaders)
Champion - Shadow Rider (Dark Knights)/Eliminator's Knight unit

Because of the placeholders, screenshots are probably going on hold; no, the unit appearances may not be medieval at all.

Edit: While wciow is working on the icons, I am going to make my own icons for the units for/as a test run. Expect to see the screenshot for some of the units.

atze, I've already seen the picture of the banner guard with the swordsman texture in your Prax mod, there's a green side of the banner.

I have edited the updated faction tree above so you can see the summary of the units/upgrades to be implemented.

I would like to request some models that are actually models from some tilesets, but without the grass and everything around them.

There is only one statue I found that has no vegetation around it: the Trojan Horse of the Greece mod, its broken version, and also a model of the base alone.

Here is the model list (for review):
Battlemage = battlemage_statue.g3d (doesn't have a broken version)
Horseman = statue.g3d (broken version is broken_statue.g3d)
Swordman/Swordsman = swordman_statue.g3d (broken version is broken_statue2.g3d)
Technician = technician_statue.g3d (doesn't have a broken version)

With the grass-less version of these statues, I could make optional units that makes these statues useful for boosting nearby units and/or for my help in creating screenshots of beautiful in-game places.

I will understand if you are working on other things.

Hagekura-san, I have to say, this mod is great (quality and all).

I have some questions:
Are the Houroku throwers will have the same damage as the bombs the Shinobi currently has? You forgot to put the upgrade requirement for the bomb command in Shinobi.
Does the morphing system (Nagae>Samurai, precisely) change in the next version?
Why does this mod have the "gu" character all over the place? It's a counter for armor, they used various crests in the period.

And the for the sound, I am aware of that: Tsubute have the Yumi Ashigaru sounds, some Ikki/Shinobi voices have unusual bass, a few I know.

I hope the next release is better than the current one. Ganbare!

Starting topic:

Just a quick suggestion: a low-tech version of Tech to fit a medieval techtree, like the Crusaders.

It's the same as Tech, but: the steampunk theme (mainly the battle machine and the air units) removed, and a few units/models/textures from other mods may be used, with the makers' credits though.

Why not rename it to "Feudal," to fit the theme?

If any of you are still busy with your other creations, I'll understand.

After running the megaglest_g3dviewer application, and closing it, I scanned for issues then found this "Open with Application issue : C:\Program Files\Megaglest\m : HKCR\megaglest.g3d\shell\open"

It's always annoying because everytime I open the viewer, nothing's wrong except for not responding after closing when a specific model appears.

I don't see this "m" file anywhere in the Megaglest folder.

How about combining the original Megapack with VBros packs (and others) into techtrees by era? These may require rebalancing.

Your name sounds familiar somewhere... I better look at other websites! Thanks for your submissions; it appears you are new here. There are instructions to attach images of your map(s).

Also, I recommend you should replace your filename spaces with underscores.

Unfortunately, this map has some tough spots:
If the red/green team is CPU, the navigation is bad and can be stopped halfway to the other.
Why there's lots of gold and stone on the middle? Could created disputed territories, I suppose?
Doesn't look like Thermopylae to me (no cliffs for example), this map is meant for multi-player.

I know, right? I used the "modcenter" titi mentioned. Maps, mods, tilesets, anything; including the Japanese faction; but unfortunately, the Megaglest wiki has pictures different from in-game. For example: the Teppo-ashigaru banners and straw hats are colored in-game; but in the wiki, there is the hiragana "gu" written on the banners and black straw hats. Also the Yumi-ashigaru have brown bows in the pictures rather than black ones from in-game.

Is there other working projects that I can interest in trying in? I would've expected a purely medieval faction/techree that I appreciate greatly!

Fortunately, I found the thread that has the working Magitech-refit (still not complete) zip file.

Also, the thread to older files such as the almost complete Woodsmen (I wanted to see bears in this techtree); once it was an archive, now I cannot access it myself (where were the files that have a suffix "unstable"?).

There is a lot to discuss! Also (just now), with my imagination, I have come up with a techtree!
