New Faction Project (Science V.2.0)

It has been some time since I had Glest. After re-reading it, I decide to redownload it, and decide to try and recreate my last project.

For those who are tired with having 2 factions (Magic and Tech), well, I once created a new faction: Science. Science is a faction, which is usually allied to Tech in the war against those evil Magicians, but is more exterme...and dangerous. Since I lost the files to Science, I'll see if I can remake it again, only better. :)

I post this so I can see what you want in this new faction. Post your ideas, and I'll include them in the project, if I can. Once it is all done, I'll see if I can upload it so people can download Science and test it out. If it is a success, I'll see if I can create a radical Magical faction, maybe the Guardians referred to in my story of Glest...I'll worry about creating a backstory of Science after it get completed.

Any suggestions and ideas that I can use...well, I will use. "Science" was basically a tech demo of Glest, seeing what new factions that can be created and added onto. You know, show what new stuff Glest can be modifed to.

As an example...the Science (V.1) faction had three special units: The Medic (Heals your units), The Spy (useful only in MP, and that's about it...can allow you to sneak your units behind enemy lines without the enemy knowing...), and the Converted Initiate (This is an initaite that the Science faction has captured and brainwashed. Basically, the initiate is loaded with a spell that can self-destruct, destroying most stuff around him...Think of this man as a sucidie bomber).

I have some ideas (including, maybe, mines?) for Science V.2, but I need some suggestions. Please post. Thanks!

Sounds nice. If you need some help, let me know. I will think about some theoretic idea, too.
Most important is to be balanced to the other factions.

Have some kind of unit which you can use to control others, if you can do that.

Or have something like a tank...

you can put a unit like a jet trooper (land) and he morphs into a sky  jet trooper and then can morph into a jet trooper(land) again, freely

you can't the land units can't promote to air units  :(

but a land unit can be create air units, like the summoner.

Silent you talking about a spy new unit but it is posible?. Some kind of invisibility maybe? or morph in enemy units is posible in glest?.

Ya que silent ha tocado el tema, es posible una unidad espia nose que se haga invisible o que se convierta en unidades del otro bando?.

anything
