How to zoom?

Can someone say me how to zoom in and out?
I am new and dont know how to do it.

press m and then press w ans s, press m again to stop

while in free camera mode you can also press a and d to rotate

I dont realy like that free camera mode. zooming is very limited and rotating doesn't stop anymore (Glest 2.0.0 on Debian Linux). So it's not realy usable!

It would be nice if you could zoom in the normal game mode. especially zoom out (a lot) to have a better overview sometimes. And i would like to be able to rotate just a littel bit, to select a unit behind a tree for example.

please change that for the next version.
