Submitting materials

We currently host maps, translations and other materials sent by Glest users at

[url=http://www.glest.org/files/contrib/]http://www.glest.org/files/contrib/[/url]. If you want us to upload the stuff you've made please either post a link to it in this topic or email it to us (use the email address in the contact section of the website).

Please follow this guidelines when submitting any materials:

- For portability reasons, all filenames must be in lowercase and using underscores instead of spaces.

- When creating translations please credit yourself in the first line of the file.

- When submitting maps please make a zip file with two files inside it: the map itself and a text file with the same name crediting yourself, and if you want, giving any other information about the map like number of players etc...

- For other types of materials like tilesets, mods etc.. please include a readme.txt file crediting yourself as well.

As a final comment I just want to thank everybody that has sent any materials, this is an open project and our community is very important to us.

Martin-o, quizas la gente podri-a incluir una captura del mapa (o de lo que sea)  dentro del ZIP... Suele ser muy util tener una imagen de referencia del contenido.

Si te parece, lo traduces para que lo entiendan todos, sino... asi se queda :)

Translation: It would also be useful to include a screenshot inside the zip file to have an image that is represantative of its contents.

remember that for the magic faction mods, you need to download and extract both newunit.zip and modedunits.zip, one contains my new units, and the other contains the alrealdy existing unit adapted to them.
(i separated them 'cause the file was too big for my fileservice to support)

I've merged both of them in a file called fireborn_mod_magic.zip.

By the way, didn't you make some maps too? do wou want us to upload them as well?

Fireborn, when i added your mercenary models to my faction folder, it couldn't run because it said "Could not load Pikeman.bmp". After looking through the files, i found there was no "Pikeman.bmp", or even a pikeman unit... Can you fix this problem? Also, make sure you also include the Halbedier unit, i was looking thru the .xml and saw that too...

Hello

I made a translation for version 2.0.0. it is based on the german translation for 1.0.1 (by Fabian S.). Not all translations are perfect, but they are understandable :)
I'm open for better suggestions.
