Pikemod corrected and unnecesary files deleted, it's now 1.7MB smaller and can be downloaded here: .tar.gz | .zip

Thank you Fusselbär!

Hello,

today i see  new Tileset:
- Wandergart
and a new Map:
- Canyon (unstable)
at http://eurion.net/glest/files/
wonderfull!  8)

(Klick for enlarge this Picture: 1024x768, 557,8 KB)

Install this mods are very easy:
unpack wandergart and copy
the whole directory "wandergart"
as  subdirectory in tilesets.
For me, on FreeBSD, this is:

Code: [Select]
/usr/local/lib/glest/tilesets

so you can see:
Code: [Select]
ll /usr/local/lib/glest/tilesets
total 6
drwxr-xr-x  5 root  wheel  512  7 Okt 02:04 forest/
drwxr-xr-x  5 root  wheel  512 26 Mär 21:47 wandergart/
drwxr-xr-x  5 root  wheel  512  7 Okt 02:05 winter_forest/

Install the new Map "Canyon"
is easy too:
unpack and copy
"Canyon(dry).gbm"
and:
"Canyon(wet).gbm"
in the maps directory.
For me, this is:
Code: [Select]
/usr/local/lib/glest/maps

Thank you very much,
Developers and Artists,
for this fine Game and the fine mods for Glest!  :)

Greeting, Fusselbaer

Still have them?

Does anyone still have these downloads? (the Glest_Extension_Dark_Dragon, pikemen, hellebardier, etc.)
The original website is down and apparently the creator does not have the files anymore.
These are great extensions, they shouldn't go into oblivion!
Do you have them? They should be posted on the web (could use my website if you want) so they are available...

DO YOU HAVE THEM!!??

SWEEEEEEEEEEET!
I've been playing the newer version of Glest, the older one was lost with my laptop a while ago. This was the one thing I missed about the old game.
I'm gonna have FUN now that there are other bugs (literally too) to dragonhunt  :wicked:
I'm gonna have to mirror some upgrades for critters like the indian Thunderbirds to match up and balance the game - more sport that way. I think I spend as much time fooling with the XMLs as I do playing the game =)
Unfortunately I don't have Blender or the other gizmo for models creation, I would have more fun that way, I guess...

Anyway, congratulations on the great work you did on these mods, and THANK YOU for sharing them.
