I have found a company nearby specialized in metal miniatures. I was thinking on writing them to see if they´re interested in making a set of Glest miniatures. What do you think?

I´m opening a small poll on the issue. It would be also interesting to know which are the most popular characters in case we have to make a selection.

ps. Our interest doesn´t grant that they´ll want to make the miniatures, but It´ll surely help.

EDIT: I think you´re right. There is some interest, but not enough; anyways the option is still there, so we may get back to this idea in the future.
