Unit idea: Rage and Life dependency
« on: 19 December 2006, 22:47:02 »
I was looking at the code, and thought about an interesting unit idea.  I've played some MMORPG's, and some of them have fighter classes that build up rage/adrenalin while attacking.  Someone could make a fighter unit in glest that gains EP by attacking, and has skills with EP requirements.  This fighter would also have a negative EP recovery.  Troll Beserker comes to mind.  Now all we need is a model.

Can a unit gain HP by attacking?  If so, imagine an undead that had health degeneration that gain life by attacking other units.

If I'm right a unit can have many different "levels" depending on how much enemies he has killed and with each level he can get stronger (and more hp) so that would be makeable.

I was refering to stealing life, not gaining levels.  Imagine a unit that loses life over time and the only way to keep it alive was to attack.

Not sure if this is possible. Will try it if I have time.
