Daemon Giant is weaker than Golem?
« on: 6 April 2007, 08:48:22 »
I was playing today when I was attacked. I got the daemon giant to kill but it died rather quickly. I was up against about 10+ archers and several swordsmen. If I had golem, it might have won (did'nt use it because of the walking EP cost, please remove it). Oh yea, and i saw a battle machine as well.

he was just weaker than all of them together.

try and break a stick in two, and then try the same with a bunch of then close to each other.which was harder ?

same thing, when weak units attack all the same time, their power would be multiplied, so they become equal to a single overpoweer unit, it's a great use of swordmen and specially archers, cause attacking from a few steps away is an advantage, you know, while they come to hit you, you've hit'em already.
anyway, i don't think that daemon giants should be stronger, golems are made of stone, so it's logical for it to be very resistant AND slow, hence daemon giants are made of flesh, so they're logically weaker AND faster.

Yeah, given enough units anything's going to be killed - that's the advantage of cheaper units (I tend to make the same mistake btw - smaller groups of expensive units that get overwhelmed by the AI's happy hordes - <G>).

And no, the golem would have probably died faster - it has less hit points, and limited attacks because of the EP cost.

golem is great for defence! walking takes too much ep, but i know how to use it! move a initiate near a enemy, and then ritual a golem :) walk with that golem to enemy, and when they see u press hold position. golem will not move, but they will come to you because then saw u. u will defeat many enemy units then, and weak it.

the walking EP cost, please remove it

y r u saying please remove it? u can do it alone. just edit a golem's XML file.
